Set it up once
Buildings, apartments, your rate and fixed fee, the official tariff, and who on the crew can do what. You do this once and the admin keeps it.

Walk the meters
One card per apartment on the phone: last month's reading, this month's reading, and a photo of the meter. Offline, in the basement. A reading lower than last month stops and asks whether the meter was replaced.

Issue the bills and collect
The office reviews the readings, generates the bills, and issues them as an image or a link. Record payments as they arrive. What is left is what you are owed.

The things people ask first.
Do my tenants need to install anything?
No. They get a bill image on WhatsApp like any other message. GeBill is a tool for you, not an app you have to talk your customers into.
Does it really work without internet?
The phone does. Readings, photos, and the bill calculation all happen on the device. On the free app you only need a connection to hand a finished bill to WhatsApp. On Enterprise, the phone syncs its readings to the office when it can.
What if a meter is replaced or reset?
When a reading comes in lower than last month's, GeBill stops and asks. Confirm the meter was replaced and it bills from zero for that apartment instead of rejecting the number.
Can I bill some apartments a flat amount?
Yes. Each apartment is either metered or on a flat monthly amount by amperage, and one building can have both.
What happens to old bills when I change my rate?
Nothing. Every bill keeps the rate, fixed fee, exchange rate, and official tariff it was issued with. Changing your settings never rewrites a bill you already sent.
Does it work in Arabic?
Fully — Arabic with proper right-to-left layout throughout, and every amount shown in both lira and dollars.
What if I lose my phone?
Export a backup file whenever you like — after every round is a good habit — and restore it onto a new phone in a couple of taps.

The crew uses the same phone app, and it often starts there on its own. On the free version each phone keeps its own ledger. The free app does not grow a back office by itself.
Which one should I sign up for?
If you walk the meters yourself and one phone can hold everything, that is the free app. If you run a company and need several phones feeding one record, that is Enterprise. You can say which on the form.
